A headless store for an Ayurvedic personal care brand on Medusa.js and Next.js. It has multi-pack discount pricing, INR payments through Razorpay, pincode delivery checks and product pages led by video.

  • Built a multi-pack pricing engine in Medusa.js that calculates percentage discounts as the cart changes.
  • Built the Next.js storefront and its category structure (Herbal Soaps, Hair Care, Body Care, Combos).
  • Integrated Razorpay with INR pricing and pincode-based delivery validation.
  • Designed product pages around video, with verified customer reviews.

Problem and objectives

The brand sells in bundles: 10% off a pack of two, 20% off a pack of three. It needed those discounts applied automatically, a checkout built for Indian customers (Razorpay, INR, pincode delivery checks) and room to tell the story behind each product.

Architecture

A Medusa.js backend serves a Next.js App Router storefront. A custom pricing module applies the multi-pack discounts and recalculates the cart as quantities change. Razorpay handles payment, and product pages are statically generated so they load immediately.
